Why don’t you see many birds of prey on some grouse moors? Because on some estates, traps are used in an illegal way to kill falcons, eagles and harriers which are protected by law.
Damaging practices used to increase yields on grouse moors may have a direct economic impact on us even if we’ve never set eyes a red grouse.
How does driven grouse shooting work? Chris explains how the landscape has to be intensively managed – burned, drained and all predators removed.
